There was a small group that started work with McNeil CPC
at about the same time Debbie was in my group. We spent so much time together we became more that co workers, it felt more like a family of friends. We shared hard work, good times and many memories together. Even though we did not stay in touch after McNeil the bond we shared is still fresh in my mind.
Debbie was a beautiful woman and my friend. I will remember her always.
My prayers are with you all.
Respectfully,
John Noé Tanguma

I have many wonderful memories of Debbie when we worked together at McNeil when Debbie lived here in Texas. We had some wild times running the vial line, and we had lots of laughs. Debbie & I had a great adventure one day... during the standoff with David Koresh and the branch davadians in Waco, Debbie & I decided we wound take a ride up to see the compound. We did, and shortly after that sadly it burned down with the people inside. I will always remember Debbie's wit and laugh. Rest well my friend.

I grew up with the Mertz family, and Debbie graduated with the Sidney class of '68 with us. My heartfelt condolences go to her surviving brothers and sister, as Debbie was afflicted with a horrible disease and left this world way too soon.
