I reached out to Carolyn a couple of months ago. Today I realized it was Grandma Holt’s 124th birthday and wondered if I could find Cathy’s number and reach out to her too. Little did I expect to find her obituary. Dear God in Heaven. Life is way too short for families to go their separate ways. Dear, dear, Cathy, so many fun memories we made at Grandma and Grandpa Holt’s when we were kids. I know they are welcoming you in to heaven along with the many others who we have lost. I know you would have loved to hear of the history of our family which I have been discovering through Genealogy. Grandma would surely be proud. I, too, would have loved to find out how you have been doing throughout the years.
My love and deepest sympathy to all of Cathy’s family; Carolyn – I wish I could give you a hug and cry with you.

We just saw Cathy's Obit in the Tri-Town news. We are so sorry for your loss. We understand the sorry when you lose a loved one. I so enjoyed Cathy and every interface that I had with her during the time I was at Amphenol. She was a wonderful person and so full of life. You and she will be forever remembered in our prayers. Oh Eric,
I am so truly sorry for your loss. I have not seen you or Cath for sometime now ,but I surely do remember being at her wedding shower at Audrey and Jim Carrols house in Unadilla and how much fun we had!!! The girl was a hoot! Cath was delireously happy knowing she was about to marry you,she so loved you and that you will always have. No one can ever take that away from you. I hope you can celebrate Caths life instead of morning her loss as knowing Cathy the way I did, is what she would have wanted for you and the kids. Eric and Family- I'm terribly sorry to hear of Cath's passing. I hope she was not in any pain or endured any suffering.
I will never forget the times we shared during my years at Bendix/Amphenol and I hope she is now at peace. I still think of her and all of you up in Sidney regularly. My thoughts and prayers are with her and those of you she left behind.

I have memories of Cathy coming to our house when I was young, and eating lunch on her lunch break from work. Mom knew she was coming and would have lunch ready for her.
