Uncle buddy, you taught me how to fish and bid on cows and animals at the auctions I went to with you. I love you so much, as an uncle and a friend. when I would come out to New York in the summer, you always made sure I had fun. I loved going out to visit you, you always had a smile on your face. you cared for grandma and your family with all you had. I love you so much. and I'll always remember you as a happy, strong man.

Buddy - When I think of you it's always with a smile on my face! You've always been an inspiration to me and I feel truly blessed to have been a part of your life as well as Jackie, Jamie, & Jill's! There are too many great memories to list here but one that always comes to mind is how much you loved to camp and how you'd do just about anything to get us to come along - like the time you strapped a full size mattress to your canoe and canoed across a lake in the Adirondacks so we'd have a comfortable place to sleep:) Being a step parent is a difficult task for many but not you - you always made me feel like I meant just as much to you as your own daughters -Thank you, it means so much! Because you always put a smile on everyone's face, I feel I should end with a memory that will put a smile on my face..remembering how you'd rub your hands together....and laughing that wonderful laugh of yours..."you have to get up pretty early in the morning to fool me" aahhhh hahah -love you always

My condolences to the Santic family. I remember Buddy as a great activity bus driver, who somehow remembered where everybody lived even though it was a different group of kids every night!

I have so many great memories of you but the one the sticks in my mind the most was the first time you took me hunting and you were pushing deer to me and when you got done you came to me and ask if I seen the deer that the tracks came right by me and I remember saying no and you turned to me and said probably because you were smoking a cigarette. You hated me smoking but I will always remember how much fun you had sticking the exploding cigarette popper in them and blowing half my cig away and you laughing so hard when it happened. I love you Buddy

As I sit here and look at your condolences and realize I am the first, I understand that everyone else feels much like me, wanting to pick just the right words! I understand that you will not care what I say, as you were never that type of person. You loved everyone just as they were flaws and all! As I reflect on my life I realize that you were the person that was most instrumental in creating the person that I am today. You came into my life at a time when I couldn’t have needed a role model more. You taught me about the finer things in life… Camping, even if it was just in the back yard, hanging out with the family. Going to Great Escape every year whether we wanted to or not. The things I didn’t understand then I do now. I take my children to Great Escape every year and when they complain I just smile and think of you. Oh what a saint you were! I love you Buddy!
