I learned several years after high school that the Davie and Howland families were somehow related and that my brothers & I were 3rd cousins to the Howland kids. On behalf of our family, please accept sympathies on John's passing. This was another of the many great families in Sidney growing up in the 1960s & 70s.

His laugh, great sense of humor and just his presence will be greatly missed.
