I will always remember Wade at BGA wrestling tournaments on the team with my son Ryan. He was quiet, polite,humble and a great wrestler. It was so good to see him again many years later and what a wonderful young man he had become. Whenever I asked about his family, his wife, his daughter, he just gleamed with pride as he spoke about them. Ryan and I were so saddened about the news. Hank , Sue , Brenda and all of Wade's family. Very sorry to hear this sad news . It is very hard to type this with tears in our eyes. We have lost a really great person . In all the years that I was Floyd's "chauffeur" to the races Wade went along with us a few times . It was always alot of fun to have him along for the ride. There is alot of great race car drivers on the race track in heaven and I am sure that Wade and the 1w is running with the best of them .Remember all the good times. We are thinking of you . so sorry,saddened and stunned by this terrible news. life is crazy and crazy things happen for no good reason.as a ref at that time, i also remember wade and brothers on the mat. during t-ments, always seemed like one was on the mat or on deck. like kurt and mike, wade just wrestled and had fun. i never heard a complaint or got a dirty look,even though the thought may have been there! some people you don't forget and wade is one of them. my thought's are with the family. rob r.

Although I did not Wade personally, I know his Mom, Brother Mike and sister-in-law Jen well. I feel like I knew him because of of his racing the "1W" at Afton. He was one of my favorites. I would watch him drive the whole race everytime. 2 other "loggers" from Bainbridge are also on my favorites list. He was an excellant driver and will always be thought of as one. The grief that we all experienced as "Suzi's boys" at the Cafe can not be adequately expressed. Wade was one of those guys who 'believed he could achieve', whether in racing, wrestling, logging, or being a son, husband, uncle and father. I will always remember him as the kid who earned an Athlete of the Week award with me for wrestling - and winning - above the supposed expectations. As Suzi recalled to me from that interview, he said "I knew...I could do it". I think that says it all.

Brenda, our hearts sank when Chris delivered the news to Kevin. No words can take the pain away and no one will understand why he was taken so young and early in life. But we all do know that Wade truly truly lived and loved his family so dearly.
