Our love and blessings go out to all the McGraws. Ruth was (and still is) a unique beautiful person. Ruth and all her family members are dear friends to us, and always will be. We have so many wonderful memories of various visits, parties, and shared Christmases with the McGraws. We, for many years, thought of you guys as our extended family. We pray that all the McGraws are comforted in this time of grief. However, you must remember. Truly, there is no death, and there is no separation in spirit. Ruth has moved on to the Light. We all will miss her and her wonderful personality. But she is in good hands now. God bless you, Ruth, and your entire family.

Mrs. McGraw's kindness created some of my happiest memories during my teenage years. Her generously opening her home and offering up her time to let me ride the horses has never been forgotten.

Dear Ruth,
It's possible that our time on earth is a starting point on life's journey. A classroom for bigger and better things to come. A forum of time to test ones worth and worthiness. An opportunity to leave an impression! The constuction of the spirit and being! So, let's check and see how you have done Ruth Marvel McGraw.
In your lifetime so far, you have been a wonderful daughter, a honorable sibling, a dutiful wife, a stern, but loving parent to six children, a doting grandmother, and in your own unique way have communicated with all of your great grand children. Outside of your immediate family, your home has been open to all, you have provided priceless advice, a calming sense of how to act and be, and most importantly an unconditional friendship of love. I guess this leaves no question of how we feel about you! Ruthy, you certainly have started off on the right foot. As Jack would have said, and I quote, "Ruthy, you certainly have started off on the right hoof." Ruth, our true friend, you have lived well, and will never be forgotten in the eyes of many. All that has been mentioned can be summed up in one simple word, "Beautiful" Go with Godspeed in your continuing travels. We love you! Steve, Donna, Kit, Kev.

My fondest memories of Mom McGraw were all the times my mom and her were sitting at the kitchen table listening to them talk about my brother Russ and Mike and the Afton football team. I loved going to her house and playing on the tire swing out front, running around the farm and being zapped by the chicken wire fence. She was a great example in my life of a strong woman who loved her children dearly and will forever have a special place in my heart.

To Didda & all the Family
we were so sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. I became acquainted with Ruth through the antiques business, and in this sphere she surely was the grand matriarch. We will all mourn her passing.
What I especially remember was how Ruth would take the time for you, no matter how busy she was.
When Ruth spoke, she would look you straight in the eye, and her words, though simple and few, had force.
Such a grand lady will surely be missed. Our hearts go out to all of you.
