My best memories of Ed were from the Unadilla Diner. I handled their advertising in the late 80s through mid 90s. What great visits we had (not actual "appointments", but visits) and he always had time. I recall his requests to use advertising to support our troops in Desert Storm and he oversaw much of the huge Otsego County 100th annual Fireman's Convention Weekend. I saw Ed only a few times over the last several years but, again, it was great to catch up and see how happy he was.
