Jack and I just visited Chuck in the hospital. As always he was joking around, and seemed so happy to have his grandaughter and Mike there! Rest in peace Chuck!

To Mike and the entire Borden family. I extend my sympathies to you all. I knew Chuck when I was "in between" jobs and was doing work for Mirabito's. One day I came down from a ladder and stepped on a small nail (I thought it was a spike!). Chuck was assigned to take me to the emergency room and he never laughed once. He should have, it was funny! We became friends after that. Please know your dad was a real stand-up guy and never took the limelight. What a great man.

My memories of Charles are of when we were in high school together. I've thought of him from time to time over the last 40 odd years. I see by the fond memories everyone has of him, he is the same Charles I knew. My condolences to his friends and family.
