I will never forget grandpa "opa" as my boys called him. He meant a lot to me and I have so many wonderful memories of him his suspenders are the first thing I think of, since I was a little girl I was always snapping them, his blue coveralls which he wore I think every single day, umm he always called me sugar plum and made me oatmeal. He had a great sense of humor and could tell you a story forever. When I was little I use to dance with him in the kitchen, standing on his feet as he led me around. There are so many more memories but I can't name them all. I will miss him so much!!
LOVE YOU GRANDPA!

I'll remember your friendship with my Dad Orval and me and the delicious roast beef/potato salad lunch in your Florida home. I appreciated your encouraging me and giving me tips in how to remodel our laundry room. That ability to encourage is special.

Katrina ~
What can we say about, your grandfather, Gunther that hasn't already been said? His story is timeless and a tribute to him, his family, and countless others who left their homes and everything they knew in the “old country and came to the United Stated seeking a better life. He and your grandmother raised their children, and made a life for themselves and their family in Sydney Center, New York. There, Gunther, a skilled Craftsman became a dairy farmer, and with is wife Lillie by his side, he raised his family and built a life filled with family and friends.
Katrina, we were moved by your grandfather’s story, and we hope you and your family find peace and solace in the countless memories of all the precious and wonderful times you spent with your grandfather. We understand simple words cannot express the sadness you and your family must be feeling, but always remember the good things, the kind words and the simple joys of spending time with your grandparents.
May GOD bless you and your family and please accept our condolences. ~ From your friends at OCO, Inc.
