Obituary of John A. Martin

John A Martin 87, of Afton passed away May 13, 2022 after battling a stroke 8 months ago. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Linda (Hulbert), brother, Bob, brother -in -law, "Zeke" Wright, brother- in- law, Vince Farmer, and youngest son, David. Surviving are son, John and grandchildren John, Jared and Justin, sisters, Mary Wright, Agnes Farmer and Joan (Skip) Howe, brother, George (June) Martin, brother and sisters- in-law, Laura Martin and Alan & Sharon Hulbert as well as aunts, uncles and several nieces and nephews. After serving in the Army in the early 60's he settled in the Afton area. He retired from Borden's Chemical plant in Bainbridge. In his earlier years he loved caring for his garden and keeping up his lawn. In the fall it was "look out deer"! Per his request, there will be no Calling hours or service.
