Johnny and family - A long good life comes with pain but Uncle John (Jake!) has progressed to eternal fellowship with our lord Jesus Christ and that is always good. Share those good memories!
My fondest are; as a young boy, John and Linda taking me to Binghamton Triplet baseball games. Hot chocolate always followed the games. Talking about Johns fishing trips to Long Lake with his brothers and dad (my grandpa Pop) only inspired my lifelong hobby as a fisherman. The pipe-almost everytime I think about him, its him and a picture of his pipe.
God bless you all!

To John's Family,
I will always remember John as a kind soft spoken man. I met him as a young worker at the Jericho Restaurant back in the 1980's. He loved to tell a story but would take his time telling it. Usually filling or lighting his pipe during the telling. A kind soul I and my husband Rich were lucky to have pass through our life. We remember him fondly. May you find a peace in memories.

John Martin was my uncle-
i am so glad that I got to see him last year when I visited Upstate NY with my Son,granddaughter and my Mom.
He still had his dry sense of humor and told us a few stories. I am glad that he is at peace now. Prayers for Johnny and family.
He will always be in my heart.
God bless you Uncle John,
Elaine Martin Moss

John, I am sorry about the loss of your dad. That is a tough time for anyone. Although I did not know him if he was anything like you he was a hard working stand up guy. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Art Weed

Dear John, such wonderful memories of time with you and David and your Mom and Dad, on High Street. Your Dad loved sharing rhubarb with my Mom, in years past as she would travel up to his place. I am sorry for your loss. My sincere sympathy to you and your family. Debbie Gage Knowlton
