I so sorry to hear of Bert's passing.. I have been in Virginia for the past 3 weeks and just found out today.. I hope the memories you all have of this dear lady will comfort and sustain you in the coming weeks and months..I remember your mom well..from when we were all in school together and through our early adult life to our now becoming the senior generation..I am sorry I was not here to attend her services.. Growing up next to Bert and family leaves me with memories….. leaving May basket at the door and running home as fast as possible, trip to Catskill Game Farm, riding to church choir practice together and singing next to each other. Sending my sympathy to the family. May your memories bring you comfort.

Aunt Bert was such a nice lady! I always remembered Uncle Ted and Aunt Bert’s anniversary as she always reminded me it was in 1947 the year I was born! Always had a good time at our family reunions!
