I want to express my deepest sympathy for the passing of Richard. There are friends and then there are TRUE friends. Even though I didn't get to visit with Dick often, he was always ready for a visit with me when I was up there. In fact he would be upset if I didn't contact him right away when I got to NY. I have a lot of past fishing memories with him that I will never forget. He and Mary were the ones to introduce my present wife many many years ago and the four of us have memories that will last forever also. I will miss Dick immensely and know that his family have lost a great husband, father and grandfather.
Dick, save a good fishing spot for me as someday I hope we get to fish together again.
Your friend always,
Walt.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family. Dick was very special to us. His visit this Spring was a pleasant surprise. Our regret is never having that breakfast together that we talked about. We will miss his gentle smile and most of all his dry sense of humor and endless jokes. He was a bright spot in our lives when he came to pick up our milk. A kinder, nicer person could not be found. Sincere sympathy, Ken, Pat, Glenn Worden and Laura and Derek West

the BEST thing to happen in our lives these last couple of years was to have Dick back in it. Our hearts are broken. You were truly a very very special friend and we are going to miss you so much. Loretta, Chad & Tammy know that your father enjoyed the simple things in life and we could all learn from that. He was a special man and we are proud to call him our friend. We are so sorry for your loss. Mary, you know how we feel, we are so so sorry.
