Obituary of Matthew David Brown

Matthew David Brown, 40, passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2021. He was born July 6, 1981 in Sidney NY, to Kathleen (Hamilton) Brown and Timothy Brown Sr. Following his Graduation from Sidney Central High School in 1999, Matt attended SUNY Albany. After college, he spent his career in the web design industry and most recently owned his own web design business, 607 Web Solutions. Matt has remained living in Sidney with his fiancée, Alicia Hurlbut, and their 4 fur babies. They were currently planning for their upcoming wedding in September 2022. He enjoyed spending his time traveling, bowling, doing photography and visiting the beach. He and his fiancée looked forward to their beach vacation to Outer Banks, NC every year. Matt loved spending time with his nieces and nephews watching them grow up. He was a great conversationalist and enjoyed having a great debate with anyone willing to entertain one with him. He is survived by: his fiancée, Alicia; his maternal grandparents, Paul and Patricia Hamilton; mother, Kathleen Brown; Brother, Jeffrey (Stephanie) Brown; sister, Amanda (Richard) Robinson; brother, Timothy Brown Jr., and brother, Eugene Brown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews- Alexis, Madalyn, Camy, Mason, Aiden, Bryce and Chase as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. As per Matt's strong beliefs there will be no memorial services held and the family will have a private celebration of his life. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Matt's memory to ACCORD, A Center for Dispute Resolution, Inc. This is a charity close to his heart that he and his fiancée donated to for children in need every year.
