Obituary of Jorge L. Diaz

Jorge Luis Diaz also known to family and friends as Pirulo, 67, of Sidney, New York, passed away on November, 3rd, 2018 at Norwich Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Norwich, New York after a two year battle with health issues and eventually Leukemia. Jorge was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico to Ramon Diaz Nieves and Ignacia Rivera Reyes on September 19th, 1951. He worked as a private contractor for serval construction companies in the city of New York and continued his passion to built in Sidney, New York for most all his life. He enjoyed servicing the people of his town and lent his constructing services where necessary. Jorge was well known for extending a hand to those in need and even his home to refuge town people affected by natural disasters, distributing water and helping rebuilt homes. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to friends and family that have reached out to express their condolences. A special thank you to Pastor Michael Green (Pastor Moe) and Circle Drive Alliance Church in Sidney, New York. Funeral services will be held at C.H. Landers, Inc.
