Lanny was like a older brother to me and showed me how to be a good person while still enjoying what life had to offer. We shared many memorable moments with friends and the Jones family. Imagine having the top down on a 63 chevy ss impala with snow flurries and Roy Orbison on the eight track player and both of us singing Blue Angel at the top of our lungs in Unadilla. He coached me with the ladies and I guess one of us was a wing man.
I thank you brother for some wonderful memories and I am feeling the loss to another Jones family member. Please know I send my condolences to the entire Jones family he will be sadly missed by me. RIP brother and I hope to see in the future.

On two separate occasions, Lanny opened his doors and his heart to me. He had a huge heart and would give his last dollar to anyone who needed it. His love for his children was abound. He will surely be missed by many.

As everyone else is, I am shocked to hear about Lanny's passing. We just had our reunion, and was hoping to see him. I remember him all through school and kept in touch with him on FB. My condolences go to his family. He was a great classmate.
