Obituary of Clarence R. Dibble

Clarence R. Dibble Sidney—Clarence R. Dibble, 96, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Wilson Regional Medical Center in Johnson City. He was born on April 18, 1921, son of the late Clarence and Edna (Stanford) Dibble in Deposit. He was married to Winifred Mills on June 17, 1942. They shared 38 years of marriage until she predeceased him. Clarence worked at American Plastics in Bainbridge for 41 years, retiring as a Supervisor. He loved to ride motorcycle and enjoyed camping. He is survived by: daughter, Sandra and Fred Frewert of Bainbridge; sister, Julia Hood of FL; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his son, Richard Lynn Dibble, and four siblings, Harold Dibble, Tommy Dibble, Cora Cable and Gene Thoms. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
