Dear Dibble Family,
Was so sorry to sad about Clarence. My sympathy to all in his family.
I've known him since I was 3 years old. I'm now almost 74. I know the 2 oldest of his and his wife. I have trouble remembering names. So forgive the lapse. But you both should kind of remember me. I lived on the 3rd floor, in back, up over the old post office on Main Street, Sidney.
I used to see and talk with your Dad in the library off and on. Your family was good friends of my Mothers Barbara (Jones) Fitzgerald, who just passed away July 30, 2017 at 93 years old.
I worked with him at the American Plastics in Bainbridge for 3 years as a cacein mixer. Always enjoyed his company and his friendship. We could talk about things in the past that know one else knew or could remember. Someone I could relate to.
Your Dad lived a long life. I hope he had many joys in his life.
wWith love,
Gary

I met Clarence years ago at American Plastics. He was a very congenial person and a pleasure to spend time with. After the place closed down I would occasionally run into him and catch up on life. Always a pleasant visit. I have had the image of him on his bicycle with a gas engine on it going down Rt 7 stuck in my head for years. He won't be forgotten.
