The early years at St. Luke's were full of music and family fun. Lee's booming baritone was a choir fixture from the loft during that time. When the church sponsored Troop 99 in those days, we all got our boating safety and water skiing opportunities through Lee and Ellie... How amazing to see them slalom!
Years later as I broadcast basketball game in the Sidney gym, there were Lee & Ellie again, only with a wheelchair and so-called limitations. Truly an inspiration to see them work together. Some day, Lee will greet you all and will be singing and dancing again.
Please accept the condolences of not only Diane and myself, but also those from members of the rest of the Davie families.

My thoughts and prayers with you, Ellie. The last time I saw Lee was Veterans Day, I am glad I had the chance to visit him. And if you remember, it was water skiing at East Sidney Lake back in 1986 that brought you and I together.

My prayers to Ellie and the boys. Your family is a part of my memories growing up in the St. Luke's church family. I remember your husband and dad as a youthful and energetic church member. My God give you comfort and strength in your time of loss. May wonderful memories keep your dad in your hearts and mind. I am sure he is in heaven and free from any limitations he has had dice his stroke.

Ellie, it's been so long since we've been in touch, but please know how sorry I was to read about Lee's passing. I'll always remember what an active individual he was - was it @ Gilbert Lake that he took us out in his speedboat? It was the first & only time for me!! My deepest sympathy to you & your family. Love, Grace
