I never knew Barbara personally. My knowledge of her was indirect, because she was a wonderful neighbor to good friends of mine. And all that I ever heard about her was always a blessing. I also heard about so many people she impacted through her career as a teacher at Afton Central School system. God bless.

Our condolences to the Olson family. Barbara was especially kind to me when I lived with her parents in Franklin from 1947 to 1950 while finishing school. Those were difficult years for me, her kindness meant a lot at that time. We will miss you, cousin.

So sad to hear this news. I never had Mrs. Olson as a teacher, but remember her well. Her son Bill was in my class. Can't believe 3 of her children died ahead of her. Thinking and praying for her family.
