Obituary of Janet A. Greene

Janet A. Greene Bainbridge, NY Janet A. Greene, 79, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Valley View Manor Nursing Home in Norwich. Janet was born on November 1, 1936, daughter of the late Russell and Catherine (Hines) Voltz in Montrose, PA. Janet was a longtime employee of Sidney Central School working in the cafeteria. On June 2, 1962, she was married to Robert J. Greene in Masonville. Bob predeceased her two short months ago, on September 9th, after 53 years of marriage. Janet is survived by: three sons: Robert and Myong Greene of Alabama; George and Lynn Greene of Southern CA and James Greene of Bainbridge; two grandsons, Nicholas and Robert; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call from 1:00-3:00pm on Saturday, December 5th at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main Street Sidney. A memorial service will follow at 3:00pm.
