It is with sadness accented with respect and admiration that I offer sympathies to the Egli family.
A man of quiet authority, Mr. Egli knew the importance of Education, attention to detail, and commitment to service (giving back). I will never forget my dad, in lecture mode when one of us boys needed it, ciiting advice he got from Henry Egli:
"Why spend all the money for a Cadillac when a Chevy gets you there just as well".
So much more to that message than you can imagine. And it still resonates....rest in peace Mr. Egli. Your resume of life is complete.

To all of the Egli family. My sincere condolences to all of you, at this difficult time. I had the pleasure of having Henry and Ellen as friends. A lot of respect for Henry, his friendship, and his never ending knowledge can never be replaced. I don't think anyone could have a friend as loyal as Henry. He believed in doing things the right way and expected the same of you. Many people will miss Henry, as will I.

It has been my privilege to have know and become friends with Henry. I have always been impressed by his knowledge, honesty and outstanding character. With Henry you expected nothing less. The correct way was the only way.
He leaves behind a legacy of a sound and well respected business, carried on by son Denis of whom he was very proud.
His family and his community has lost a special man. I have lost my good friend. You will be missed Henry, but never far from thought.

I was sad to learn of Henry's passing today. He was a very nice man and a great neighbor. I will not forget all the times I was in that house playing. He lived a long and productive life, something for which to be grateful. God bless each of you as you work through this transition in your life. Thinking of and praying for all of you.

So sad to hear this. I spent a lot of time with my cousins at Uncle Hank and Aunt Ellen's house while growing up, and enjoyed the time spent with them during holidays and family gatherings. He had a good long life and was an asset to the community. I don't think you can ask much more of a person than to be a positive influence and that he was.
