Donna Jean Browning 61 of Mt. Upton passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 at her home with her family after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
She was born November 13, 1953, daughter of Donald and Margaret (Butler) Gaughan in Sidney.
Donna married James A. Browning on May 26, 1973. She was a dedicated member of Borden Hose Co. of Mt. Upton and Rockdale for over 30 years. Donna was very artistic, and taught ceramic classes from her home.
She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Husband, James Browning, Mt. Upton
Parents, Donald and Margaret Gaughan, Morris
2 Daughters – Germaine and Kevin Rodda, Georgetown
Gwendolyn Grow and Butch Faulkner, Mt. Upton
4 grandchildren – Alexandria, Timothy and Matthew Grow, Justin Rodda
2 Sisters – Susan and Ronald Rowe, Gilbertsville
Mary and Robert Myers, Morris
And many nieces, nephews and cousins
Friends are invited to celebrate Donna's life on Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 1-4 PM at Borden Hose Co. 1698 State Route 8 Mt. Upton, NY 13809
In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be directed to Hospice and Palliative Care of Chenango County 21 Hayes St. Norwich, NY 13815, Alzheimer's Association of Central New York, at www.alz.org/centralnewyork and Borden Hose Co. 1698 NY state route 8 Mt. Upton, NY 13809
