Obituary of Theodore J. Roxbury

Theodore J. Roxbury Unadilla, NY Theodore "Ted" Roxbury 82 of Unadilla passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at his home. Ted was born August 7, 1933 son of the late Theodore and Ruth (Anglim) Roxbury in Brooklyn. Ted served his country honorably in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1955. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal with 3 stars, Good Conduct Medal, Korean PUC, the United Nations National Defense and Air Crew Wings. He married Muriel A. Monks; she predeceased him on April 19, 2013. Ted was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Sidney. He volunteered at the Church Harvest Festival and Share the Bounty. He was also a lay Eucharistic minister. Ted was a manager for Pharmacia Company, Fairfield, New Jersey when he retired. Ted is survived by his children: Debra, Karen, Ted, Jr., and James , son-in-law, Gerald and daughter-in-law, Melanie. Grandchildren and great grandchildren Friends are invited to call from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St., Sidney, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 15 Liberty Street, Sidney, NY with Msgr. James Cox officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Brooklyn.
