Obituary of Frederick H. Seymour

Frederick H. Seymour Bainbridge, New York Frederick H. Seymour, 77 of Bainbridge was called to his Heavenly home on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at M.I. Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY. Fred was born to Helen Hager and Francis A. Seymour on April 5, 1932 in Cannonsville, NY. He graduated from Deposit Central School. Fred started farming after high school, continuing in that occupation until becoming a custodian and bus driver for the Bainbridge-Guilford Central Schools. He did this for 27 years until retiring. Fred married Dorothy Burleson on April 18, 1954, this year celebrating 55 years of marriage. During that time, they raised two sons, Daniel and Joseph. Fred was a longtime member of the Sidney Center Baptist Church. Fred is survived by: Loving wife, Dorothy Seymour Bainbridge Two sons, Daniel Seymour and Darlene Kellogg and Joseph and Dara Seymour Brother, Keith Seymour and his wife, Helen Grandchildren: Tim and Tori Seymour, Nathan Seymour, Katie Bradly, Cassie Seymour, Damon Seymour and Kaiden Seymour, and Bailey Green 4 Sisters-in-law: Dorothy Seymour, Marie Corey, Marjorie Vaughn and Donna Burleson He was predeceased by his parents, and two brothers, Francis A. Seymour and Philip J. Seymour, Sr. Friends are invited to call from 10-11:00am on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the Sidney Center Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 11:00am at the church with Rev. Dennis Murray, pastor officiating. Burial will take place in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
