Beverly and Girls~
We were saddened to learn of Hobie's passing. He will definitely be missed by all who knew him. It was always such fun to run into Bev & Hobie at church dinners, restaurants, etc. We all knew where the best food in town was. We enjoyed chatting with you and having a good time whenever we ran into you. Sending positive thoughts and and lots of prayers to all of you at this sad time.

Beverly, Caroline, Cheryl, Cynthia and family-
We were very saddened to hear of Hobie's death. He was such a fixture of the community for so long and shared many stories of his family farming property, and was always a wealth of knowledge about the history of Guilford. He always kept me up to date on the girls, grandchildren and what was going on. You could tell how he talked about all of you the pride he felt in your successes. He was one of a kind, a wonderful neighbor and will be missed by many in the community. We are thinking of all of you. May you have many happy memories to share with each other during this sad time.

Beverly, Caroline, Cheryl and Cynthia:
What could we possibly say to ease the pain. Hobie was a gentle giant. He was such a good person and awesome neighbor. We have lived next to you for 38 years and they have been wonderful years. You allowed our children (who are now grown) to run rampant and consider your lawn our lawn with never a complaint. We've camped on your land. You are family to us. Our hearts are so heavy and cannot imagine not seeing Hobie out and about puttering and mowing the lawn. Chris and Hobie helping each other with various little projects. borrowing tools, giving advice. Hobie will be sorely missed by us, but know that we are here for all of you. Whatever you need, just let us know.

Beverly and family,
Please accept my condolences on the news of "Hobey's" passing. Since I was a little boy, Hobey was part of my life. I have many fond memories of hunting with Hobey, over the years when he was still able to push the bush with my uncles, grandfather and my own father. I will miss my friend at the morning gatherings at the Guilford store. Hobey always had a smile and a chuckle for all that he greeted. I will miss him greatly.
