I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with him at Elmers and we became friends. We always talked about our kids, sports well actually we talked about everything. He was a great guy easy to talk to. I'm at a loss for words. He may have left this world much too soon, but know he was loved by all who knew him. Rest in peace my friend you will be greatly missed. <3

I am very sad to learn that one so young passed. I did not him, but I did know his children from their time at Sidney Schools. I pray that his family, especially his children find peace and hold the special moments close. Certainly, a dad always wants his children to be happy and successful even if he is not there to experience it.

My sincere condolences to the Bliss family and to Sarah at the passing of Duane. I was saddened to read of this loss. I had not realized previously the connection of students from my Gilbertsville days to my Afton students. I fondly remember marching band practices and creating new street beats with Duane during my three years as the Color Guard Director. He was an extremely talented musician who played a large role in Gilbertaville's music program. I will be praying for you all as you grieve this loss.

My beloved dad... I cannot begin to comprehend the loss. I miss you so much already and it has only been just 2 days. I appreciate all you did for me. We were so close and you were my best friend. You were the one I would call throughout my stress at nursing school. I even told you all other troubles I had. It's not going to be the same this coming school year. I need you, I really do. Though the conversations will be one-sided, we will still have conversations. I know you are proud of me and that will help me get through. I will continue nursing school in hopes that you're watching down on me, proud as ever. Rest in peace my dear father. I can't express how much I love you. Always and forever in my heart.

I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Dean well in recent years, but I do remember my brother Mike and I played with Dean and Tami a lot as kids. I recall that Dean was quite the pitcher for the baseball team. We played in the high school jazz band together. Dean was a talented musician. A few years ago, Dean sat by my husband and I at an All-County Concert at Unatego School. It took me a minute to recognize him at first. Then, we shared some memories of our high school band. Dean was very proud of Mariah that day. Sincere sympathies to you all. Dean will be missed.

I want you to know how much I am going to miss you! You were taken too soon from us, and have left behind many broken hearts, but I think we all understand that you were just tired of fighting, and that you had to go.
I have so many memories, and those that keep coming back to me the most, are the ones we made as children. Happy memories of playing outside, riding our bikes, watching you flop over because your training wheels were finally off, our times with our friends across the street, spent up on the hill behind our house, Christmases, and how excited we would get, me tricking you into doing things you probably shouldn't have, and even our arguments, which I would prevail for many years, and as you grew and became a little bigger than me, you would then take the winners spot, teaching me a new kind of respect
for my now bigger brother.
I hope you know that I love you and always will!!
I miss you little brother!
