So glad we had a chance to visit with Mr. Whitney when he came to Texas a couple of years ago. He was fun to hang out with. I know he will be missed.

I'm so sorry for my cousins. I wished I'd have had the opportunity to know Uncle Paul better in my younger years. From what my cousins have shared over the years and what I knew of him, Uncle Paul was a dear sole and I know he loved his family as deeply as any could. My thoughts and heart are with Cindy, Linda, Donna & Sandy, I know this has to be difficult for you all.
Love, Matt, Michelle and our family!

My Uncle Paul was a wonderful man whom I respected deeply; certainly a role model that helped form my life. I so glad he was part of my early life and wished I could have spent more time with him as an adult. As a young man I thought he was so lucky to have four beautiful daughters. My condolences and love to all my cousins and all of the family. Love, Michael & Muriel

We are so sorry to learn of Paul's recent passing. Although we met him only once at Erik and Sandy's wedding, it was obvious that he was a very kind and loving gentleman. We would have loved to have known him better. To his dear family, please accept our deepest sympathy and in the coming days enjoy sharing memories of a life well lived.
Sincerely,
Marlene and Ivan White

I'm sorry for your loss, Whitney family, but thankful that Paul had a long full life with you all, and that he is now reunited with those that went before him. I have nothing but fond memories of him and can only imagine the mischief that he and my Dad might get into in heaven! i just read that Dick Dickson was a good friend too. I remember the three of them running around together. Good memories, I know you have many!

The Davie family, with four boys, lived two houses up West Main St from the Whitneys, with four girls. Regretfully, we never got to know Paul, except for basic pleasantries outside as we ran down to the courts or the school. But thanks to his daughters' postings on facebook, we know he was their rock and a friend to all. His girls stayed devoted throughout his life and that's a priceless commodity in today's world. Our family's sympathies to you all on Paul's passing. May he truly Rest in Peace.
