Nancy and I send our prayers and sympathy to the entire family. we have lost another important piece of Guilford history. Sam was a very hard worker and he did a lot for the community and he will be missed by all. Rest in peace my friend.

My deepest sympathy to Sam's family & friends. I loved the times on the Fleming farm when I was younger. Putting in hay, milking cows, and my favorite, delivering Sam's sweet corn all over Guilford with John in the pony cart. May your fond memories help you all through this difficult time.

Sam was my first chief with the G.F.D. That goes back a few years! I remember his dry sense of humor and his dedication to the entire Guilford area. My condolences to his entire family.

To the Fleming Family:
Sam is one of those people in our community who have been around our whole lives. From driving school bus, to assisting us with our first septic system in Guilford, to buying his summer time corn. He has been a constant for so many.
