Travis James Roloson of Delhi, NY, passed away unexpectedly January 5, 2015 in Walton. Travis was born at The Hospital, Sidney on January 5, 1984. He attended Delaware Academy and then moved to Walton, where he graduated from Walton Central School with the class of 2003.
Travis had a love for music and played in the band Cardboard Cutouts, which Travis, his brother, Rich and friend, Chuck, started. He had worked for Nelson Tree Compay and was employed with Walton Big M at the time of his death.
Travis is survived by: his father, Dale (Cathy) Roloson, DeLancey; mother, Debra Vermilyea-Fiedler, Walton; son, Jaedyn Roloson, Walton; Brother, Richard Roloson (Meghan Condon) and sister, Katrina Roloson (Joshua MacDonald), Walton; step-brother, Jeremy (Kayla) Schriver, Davenport; step-sisters, Lynn Schriver and Amanda Schriver, Hamden and Savannah Wake, Delhi; and significant other, Melissa Brannock and Payton. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Travis was predeceased by his grandparents, and a special cousin, Missy.
The family will be accepting friends at the Hamden Town Hall, Route 10, Hamden from 2:00-4:00pm on Sunday, January 11th. Please come and share all your memories of Travis with us.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent c/o Dale Roloson, 1068 County Highway 2, DeLancey, NY 13752 for a scholarship to be set up in Travis' name at Walton Central School.
