Connie and Family,
I am sorry this is so late, but I just heard about John's passing today. I am so very sorry for your loss.
John was a customer of ours while he was at McDowell and Walker. I was also his "work friend" and am almost your neighbor. I live on Dyer Flat Rd in Nineveh/Harpursville. In fact, you were with John one day when you drove by my house and I was out splitting wood; and we stopped and chatted for a minute.
John was always so funny and an extremely smart man. I would make early morning deliveries to him and we would visit when we could. He called me "The Engineer" because I would help with his projects he had going on.
And for the last few years, every time, he would talk about you. He was very concerned about your health and how you were doing. He was so very proud of you and all that you had accomplished in your life.
I hope you are doing well, and again, I am very sorry for your loss. I will miss John a lot.

Connie - I never met John but feel as though I knew him. Things you and I would talk about, his "famous" pickled eggs that my husband LOVED and still misses. Stories our nephew use to tell when he also drove Milk Truck and knew John. I know you will miss him, however, I was very glad to hear that he did not suffer long. You to built a great life, raised wonderful children. My prayers go to you and all your family. You are in my thoughts. God bless you girl.

Dear Connie, Nikki, Lori, and families,
I was so sorry to hear about your loss. I hadn't seen John in years and several weeks ago was talking about trying to get in touch with him. We had worked together for about 20 years, were quite close friends and then lost touch with each other.
