Ida Burdick, Sidney, NY
Ida Mae Burdick 88 of Sidney passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 at Bridgewater Nursing Facility in Binghamton.
She was born June 30, 1926, daughter of the late Raymond and Dora (Cleveland) Knowlton.
Ida married Robert Burdick in Waverly, NY in 1944, he predeceased her in 1950.
She worked in the shipping department of Scintilla in Sidney when she retired. Ida also sold Avon for over 46 years. She loved to embroider, travel and shop.
Ida is survived by
Daughter, Marlene Cordner, Sidney
Son William Burdick and his wife Rita of Kenoza Lake, NY
Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
And several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also predeceased by her son Robert, Sister, Flora Scott, Brother, Ryle Gilbert Knowlton, and twin grandsons.
Friends may call Wednesday September 24, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 Pm at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney.
Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM in the funeral chapel and burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Sidney
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
