Obituary of Ruth Ann O'Brien

Ruth Ann O'Brien Bainbridge, NY Ruth Ann O'Brien 72 formerly of Bainbridge closed her eyes and went home to Jesus on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at Chase Memorial Nursing Home in New Berlin. She was born September 7, 1936, daughter of the late Carl and Anna (Warholick) Doerflinger in Newark, NJ. Ruth married William P. O'Brien. In 1974 they purchased Way Back of Sundown Golf and Country Club in Guilford. Together they operated the Golf and Country Club until 1980. William predeceased her on October 1, 1979. Ruth loved to play Bingo and had a vast collection of elephants. She is survived by: Daughter and son-in-law - Patricia and James Vanornum, NC 4 Sons and 2 daughter-in-laws- James T. and Heidi O'Brien, Bainbridge Michael and Laurie O'Brien, Bainbridge Timothy O'Brien, Greene Robert O'Brien, FL 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ruth was also predeceased by her Son, William S., Granddaughter, Melissa Lynne O'Brien, and Sister, Anna Marie Huber Services are private and at the convenience of the family Ruth's family would like to thank the staff of Chase Memorial Nursing Home for their loving care.
