Our sympathy to Mr. LeBar's family and friends. Both Paul and I had Mr. Lebar for our math teacher and appreciate and respect that he was a great math teacher. Paul always enjoyed visiting with him after church in recent years, also.

I went to Sacred Heart Church with Russ for many years. I always looked forward to him when he would "lector" (read) at the 10:30 mass. He was and will always be one of my favorite lectors I have heard. my condolences for his family during their time of grieving. God bless!

Dear Aunt Joan, Maria and Russ,
I am so sorry for your loss. I was praying for his healing. I am a angel person and I truly believe that Uncle Russ is now well and watching down over all of us. I do not handle death well, I guess that is why I love the genealogy so much. In my world we live on and begin another life. I am sure those angels will have Uncle Russ back up and teaching math to all the angel kids before he can bat an eyelash.
Mom and Dad do not work the computer, so I am also writing for them.
We are praying for you during this crisis. With the illness we are not able to make the trip to New York, but our hearts and souls are with you daily.

Dear Mrs. LeBar,
I was a student of Mr. LeBar's from 1970-1974 at Franklin Central School. His reach was far greater than the 4 years we had together. As you may recall I had gotten in touch with Mr. LeBar a few years back to thank him for his great influence on my life. Without his guidance I would not be the man I became. The words "teaching with moral integrity" sums up very neatly his life's work. Thank you Mr. LeBar, you will never be forgotten. Bob Salvador

I sat with Russ for many years in "our" bench at church. I affectionately called him my "bench buddy". He always asked how my children were doing and was a kind and thoughtful man. My sincere condolences to his family.
