Obituary of Regina Lois Macumber

Regina Lois Macumber Norwich, NY Regina Lois Macumber, 57, a resident at Valley View Manor Nursing Home in Norwich passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich. Regina, lovingly known as Reggie by her family and friends, was born on July 15, 1952, daughter of the late Stanley Mott Macumber and Florence Harriet (Fenton) Macumber in Sidney. For a time, Reggie worked for CWS Workshop in Norwich. She enjoyed doing crafts, including crocheting, as well as plastic mesh needlework. She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Sidney. She also was a huge fan of Bingo, attending Bingo nights at the Moose Club, as well as taking bus trips to Turning Stone Casino to play there. Reggie was a true sweetheart, easy going and happy go-lucky. She loved people, and was greatly loved in return. She will be dearly missed. Regina is survived by: 11 brothers and sisters and their spouses: Joan Herron, Gene and Brenda Macumber, Erna and Edward Powers, Judy and Douglas Stanton, Bruce and Grace Macumber, Nancy and Joe Ward, Colleen and Bill Elliott, Karen and Charles Decker, Kevin Macumber, Eddie and Jan Macumber and Ernest Hilliker. Aunts and Uncles As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Regina was predeceased by an infant brother, Wayne Eugene Macumber, two brothers-in-law, Lenny Gransbury and John Herron, and a sister-in-law, Mary Macumber. A graveside service for Reggie will take place at 11:00am on Monday, August 17, 2009 in Butternut Valley Cemetery, Copes Corners. A luncheon will be held at 12:00noon on Monday following the service at the Moose Club in Sidney. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Chenango County 21 Hayes Street Norwich, NY 13815.
