Obituary of Alicia Rose Miller
Alicia Rose Miller
Whitney Point, NY
Our angel, Alicia Rose Miller, 22, is in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She asked God for butterflies as a sign that she'd be 'ok' in her battle against cancer. He gave her butterflies that she might live without fear as her determined doctors struggled to find a cure. She lived every day with unwaivering faith, sharing her love with all that came into her life. Her journey of faith and love transitioned on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 when God called her home to follow the butterflies into His heavenly garden.
Alicia is surviving by:
Her parents, Roseann and Rob Dickson and John Miller and Marianne Evangelista; brothers: Joshua Miller, Vince Dickson and Colton Griswold; and the large loving families of Marie and the late Jack Miller, N. Trent Wilson, Barbara O'Connor (Bob Tucker) and Richard and Helen Dickson, as well as special friends, Emily Williams and Bethann Creuter.
Friends and family are invited to call from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-9:00pm on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Countryside Christian Chapel, 32 Bull Creek Road Whitney Point, NY. Funeral services will be held at the church at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 30th. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Alicia's family wishes to thank the wonderful, loving medical staffs of Lourdes Hospital and Wilmot Cancer Center of Rochester for their care and compassion and request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be directed to Wilmot Cancer Institute, University of Rochester Medical Center, 601 Elmwood Ave. Box 704 Rochester, NY 14642 or at http://www.urmc.rochester.edu/cancer-institute/giving/make-a-gift.aspx.
Condolences and memories may be shared with the family online at www.landersfh.com.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, Sidney.
