It was an honor to arrive at the former home of Michael, and our condolences to his family. My husband and I recently went to the home, and were so interested in the History of this amazing place. We came to the home on Halloween Weekend, after reading about a benefit fundraiser to help raise funds to restore a roof on the original Silk Mill. It appeared that the couple had just purchased the home, with hopes of continuing the restoration.
I now see that this home is a work in progress, and it is truly amazing!
God Bless all, may Michael rest in peace, and may the new homeowners carry on his vision of restoring this amazing piece of American Industrial History- (The Sllk Mill) and the beautiful home.

Michael was always a joy to see and talk with. He was a powerful artist both visually and musically. I will miss conversing with him about art and other worldly matters. I only regret not being able to paint in the park with him like we always planned on doing.

I recall Mike the first time he came to WCDO to promote a local jazz concert. In a shirt time, we shared our love of jazz, local performances, etc. He made a real difference moving here and sharing his talents in music and the arts!
Condolences to his family. He will be missed,

I had the pleasure of getting to know Mike through my role as RN at Dr. Ucci's office. Some fond memories of him include: Seeing how dapper he looked in a dress shirt and scarf...combined with his comfy blue jeans overalls; Joking with him about "Preppy Bear"--the teddy bear he used to elevate his arm during IV therapy; Listening to him rhythmically tap on the recliner chair arms (in jazz drummer fashion) while he was waiting for me to start his IV, and then watching him rapidly fall asleep after it was running. We had many wonderful conversations about his deep faith, his belief in alternative medicine, and his ongoing home restoration. I will truly miss him.

I was saddened to learn of Mike's passing. Working with him on his many print projects at the shop in Sidney was always a fun experience and when I think back to the days he spent with Corny at his side I always smile. My husband and I bumped into Mike while on line at the Earlville Opera House awaiting a Bo Diddley show and we all sat together and shared a wonderful night of music. Mike, his music, art and stories will be missed and you have my heartfelt condolences.
