I was so sad to hear of Marges passing. I always called her my church mom. She was so dedicated to her church family. I moved to South Carolina and she still sent us cards for the holidays. She will always be remembered in our hearts as a special person. Marge will be greatly missed

On behalf of the New York FFA I wish to extend our deepest condolences to the communities in which she lived and served. Marge was a gem, one of a kind. Fiercely dedicated to education and agriculture both institutions will miss her presence. We are grateful to have had the honor of Marge visiting us at the Oswegatchie FFA Camp this past December, a place she and her husband Francis loved very much. I will miss seeing you at the annual Farm Bureau State Annual Meeting and school board conferences.

The end of an era. A true teacher. A true "class act." Loved and respected by so many students for so many decades. Thank you Mrs. Secrest.. for the school lessons and the life lessons.

The Samuel Family was blessed to know Marge. We enjoyed our time at The First Baptist Church together. Marge has done many many many things for children. What our children will remember most is her homemade cookies. She made all the cookies for both of our girl's graduation parties. She also brought "Gramma Sue" into our life. She will be remembered with love for her dedication and ethics and love for the children.

Margery Secrest set the finest example of dedication and public service. She loved Afton Central School with all her heart. FFA and Farm Bureau also were very dear to her. We all benefited from her wisdom and devotion and will be poorer for her loss. Friend, mentor and teacher. Rest well my friend...you worked so tirelessly in life.
