To Sharon and Jim. I was always amazed at how John was the information center for all things Bainbridge for so long. He was a Bainbridge Pharmacy fixture as we all know. But for a guy stationed in a store behind the counter, he made hit seem like he was everywhere around town. And such an easy going manner.
I, too, wish I had gotten to know him better. However I can say with certainty that John had no enemies. He liked everyone and everyone liked him. He will always be one of the "faces of Bainbridge" in my mind.

Sharon, Jimmy, Shelley, and the girls my heart and thoughts are with you all. There are so many memories of you all with our family that I would not know where to start. I just know that he is giving them "heck" up there and requesting the game to be put on. Thank you for being a part of my life and wish the best for you all. XOXO

We were sorry to hear of john's passing.
He was a great husband, father, and most of all a wonderful grandfather, which he was very proud of them from the time they were born, he always had pictures in the store to show everyone.
I will always remember him taking me under his wing and showing me the ropes along with ernie, viv, ann,ed what good times and laughs we all had.
He took quite pride in his work and that store,he had to get there at a certain time to get the papers inside but this was after having breakfast with everyone at the S&S cafe.Mike also remembering his passion for golf and bowling he enjoyed sharing the game with him.
Rest in Peace my Friend until we met again!

Uncle John I have such fond memories of when I was younger and you lived with us right after the train accident. I even can remember your first apartment on Bixby Street.
You always liked to razz me about my love of the NY Yankees. I have a very poetic poem you penned for me letting me know that your team was better than my team.
Sharon and Jimmy our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
May you rest in peace,
Michele, Kevin and Erin Barr
