Paul Kenneth Finch, 78 of Sidney passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the NYS Veterans Home in Oxford.
He was born December 11, 1935, son of the late Leon Kenneth and Frances (Huyck) Finch in Walton. He lived a good part of his life in Walton, graduating from Walton High School in 1958. Paul served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960.
He married Joyce VanKleeck on February 11, 1961. Paul worked as a teletype setter for the Walton Reporter for over 30 years. He enjoyed going to Senior Meals and loved Bingo. He and Joyce attended the First Baptist Church in Sidney.

4 Daughters: Jennifer Robinson and her husband Roland, Columbia, SC
Beth Ann Roy and her husband Robert, Ithaca
Rebecca Finch, VA
Paula McKinnis and her husband Douglas, Pine Hurst, NC
Son: Jeremy Finch, Unadilla
14 Grandchildren and 6 Great, Grandchildren
Sister, Beverly Curtin and her Husband Peter, Walton
Brother, Donald Finch and his wife Mary Ella, Frederick, MD
Brother-in-law â Jeff Thompson, Sidney
As well as several nieces and nephews
He was also predeceased by Sisters, Linda Brown and Sharon Thompson
Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, March 17, 2014 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney. If one chooses, memorial donations may be made in Paul's memory to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway - Suite 1509 New York, NY 10018.
