Obituary of Janet Lynne Harrison

Janet Lynne Harrison September 23, 1944 - July 11, 2013 Janet L. Harrison passed away at her home in Rockdale on July 11th - surrounded by her devoted husband, George and their wonderful daughters, Sue, Nancy & Laura. Janet was born in Valley Stream and grew up in Copaigue, Long Island, the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Karl Jorgensen. Janet married George, the love of her life, January 25, 1969 and enjoyed many blissful years surrounded by her 3 daughters, 2 stepchildren, 10 grandchildren and 1 step-grandchild. Janet's undying devotion to her family was evident. Janet is survived by her loving husband, George, daughter, Sue and her husband Bill Namorato and their children, Emmy, Alex & Sammy. Daughter, Nancy and her spouse Jamie Brady, Nancy's son, Quincy and stepdaughter JamieRose. Daughter, Laura and her husband Court Ingraham and their 2 children, Dylan & Sydney. Stepdaughter, Cindy and husband Tom Callendrillo and Stepson Scott and his children, Brian, Jamie, Paige & Tyler. Sister Carole and husband Robert Heller, and brother George Jorgensen. Janet will be greeted in heaven by her parents Karl & Bertha Jorgensen. There will be a celebration of Janet's life on Sunday, July 14th from 2:00-5:00pm at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main Street Sidney. Janet will be interred at Saratoga National Cemetery on Monday, July 15th. There will be a brief ceremony at 10:00am Monday at the funeral chapel prior to her journey to Saratoga.
