Ellie was such a great Mom and teacher! She taught at Franklin for several years and was loved by all. She had such a kind heart and a zest for life. My heart goes out to her family and I wish that there was something that I could do that would erase such a loss. She had so much more to give in life. What a wonderful person she was.

I have only know Ellie for a few years, but I have enjoyed working with her at Greenlawn. Every time I had a question about how to help a children with reading strategies, Ellie always had an answer for me. I will truly miss her wisdom as well as her smile. I would also like to say she has helped my daughter grow with her reading this past year. This is my daughter's first year at Greenlawn and Ellie made her first year a very special one. She was so kind to my daughter and went the extra mile to make sure my daughter succeeded with her reading. Thank you Ellie for all that you have done for me and my daughter. You will always have a special place in our hearts.

Ellie was a great person to work with. Easy going and loving. I remember her coming into my room at Franklin to tell me about her cat going to the bathroom on the toilet. We talked about that many times. Her smile cheered everyone around her. Her kindness and smile will never be forgotten. I know she is smiling down upon us all. Ellie was a great teacher. She helped my daughter out with her reading when she was at Greenlawn. I will always be greatful to Ellie for that. Ellie was a lot of fun to work with during the Summer Reading Program the few years I worked with her.. I will always remember her great smile and laugh.
