My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Leland was an amazing person and always had such a positive outlook that left an impact on everyone whom his life touched. I still look fondly on those summer weeks that Leland and the family would spend down at Little Standard Beach. From his stories and experiences, to his sense of humor, it was always so uplifting to be around Leland. It was also always a treat to see Leland and my grandfather together. My wife Carolyn had met Leland at my grandfather’s 100th birthday and he had made a lasting impression on her in the course of only a few hours. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
