Obituary of Helen M. Utter

Helen M. Utter Mt. Upton, NY Helen M. Utter, 92 of Mt. Upton, passed away peacefully Thursday night, June 4, 2009 at Gilmour Health Care Facility in Norwich. Helen was born on January 31, 1917, daughter of the late Arthur Lynn and Mary (Walker) Fagan in Kirkwood, NY. On September 5, 1936, Helen married Louis J. Utter in Endicott, NY. He predeceased her on January 8, 2003. Helen is survived by: 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Clyde and Dottie Utter Unadilla Dale and Cindy Utter Piedmont, St. Dakota 3 daughters and a son-in-law: Lois and John McConnell Mt. Upton Joyce Norris Earlville Marlene Utter Mt. Upton As well as 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren In addition to her husband, Helen was predeceased by her son-in-law, Charles B. Norris, and her sister, Dorothy Weidman. A graveside service for Helen will take place on Monday, June 8, 2009 at 4:00pm at Maplewood Cemetery, Mt. Upton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Helen may be sent to Rockdale Community Church, the Mt. Upton Fire Department or to Chenango County Hospice.
