Obituary of Pauline D. McIntyre
Pauline McIntyre Sidney, NY Pauline R. McIntyre, born to Joseph and Rose Dimicco on November 21, 1913, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2009, at the age of 95. Devoted wife of the late William, who preceded her in death in 1998, and loving mother of Paul (Grace) McIntyre of Prescott, AZ and Stuart, FL; Jim McIntyre of Melbourne, FL and Sidney, NY; Bill (Diane) McIntyre of Rochester, NY; and Jean (Ralph) Siwicki of Park Ridge, IL; dear grandmother of Christen (Dave) Doucet, James (Angie) McIntyre, Stacey McIntyre, Steven (Nicole) McIntyre, Julie (Rich) Miller, Anne Marie McIntyre, Tera (Will) Healy and Michael Siwicki, and great-grandmother of seven. Born, raised, and a long-time resident of Sidney, NY, Pauline was preceded in death by siblings Mary, John, Frank, Theresa, John, George, Louise, Lenna, Louis, Virginia and daughter-in-law, Karen Merritt McIntyre, and is survived by her sister, Florence Hall, of Apache Junction, AZ. Pauline was an active member of the Rosary Society at Sacred Heart Church, enjoyed square dancing, golfing and spending time with her family and friends. For twenty years she and her husband spent the summer months in Sidney and the winter months in Stuart, FL, and were active members of the Monterey Yacht & Country Club. She enjoyed the past 5 years living in Melbourne, FL, at Town Square Assisted Living Facility. Friends are invited to call on Friday, May 7, 2009 from 4-7pm at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 11:00am at the Sacred Heart Church, 15 Liberty Street Sidney with Rev. Fr. Gordon Polenz, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Sidney. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Pauline's honor may be made to the Sacred Heart Church, 15 Liberty Street, Sidney, NY 13838 or to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
