My grandpa and shared so many memories, but the on i loved the most was going to the beach with him we would never want to leave but we would because we didn't want to keep Grandma by herself...We would never stop talking about football we both shared that passion and i will never forget him! I loved how he could always brighten a room!

I REMEMBER LEE WHEN HE WORKED AT BOCES AS JANITOR MANY YEARS AGO. HE HAD A BEAUTIFUL SMILE AND LAUGH.
I ALSO REMEMBER HIM AND HIS FAMILY COMING TO THE EAST BRANCH COMMUNITY CHURCH, HIS DAUGHTER KELLY USED TO SCREAM ON THE TOP HER LUNGS WHEN SHE SAW MY DAD(JOHN W. HOUCK). BUT NOW WE CAN REJOICE THAT THEY BOTH ARE IN HEAVEN SINGING,TALKING, AND PRAISING GOD TOGETHER WITH MANY OTHERS. RIP,LEE. MAY WE SEE YA SOME DAY. GIVE MY DAD A HUG. MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES,PRAYERS, AND THOUGHTS ARE WITH LEE AND HIS FAMILY. GOD BLESS.

Our Dad gave this poem to his Father Richard who he loved and admired so much. We would like to send this poem to our daddy who we love and admired so much.
MY DAD
He never looked for praises
He was never one to boast
He just went on quietly working
for those he loved the most.
His dreams were seldom spoken
His wants were very few
and most of the time his worries went unspoken too!
He was there...a firm
foundation through all my storms of life
A steady hand to hold onto
in times of stress & strife!
A true friend I could turn to
when times were good or bad
one of my greatest blessings was the man that I called Dad!
Loving you always
Dee and Kel

You were my best friend as well as a wonderful husband. You were my rock and it will be hard to go on without you, but I know I have to until we meet again. I can hear you saying don't cry for me because I'm in heaven now where I have longed to be, I have no more pain and I will be waiting for you there.

It has been a REAL blessing to have Lee as a part of our family. No matter how much adversity he faced, he ALWAYS had a smile and a soft voice. We will miss him greatly and our "family" will never be quite the same. Our only comfort is knowing that he is in the Lord's arms and no longer in physical pain.

In honor of my "Buddy" who always had my back and still does. His last words to me, "It'll be ok in two, three days Sis". He was always right. A light has gone out on Earth but now shines forever above us.

Lee, I am going to miss you more than you could ever imagine. You have my eternal love and respect. You were, and are, one of the best people I've ever known. You, more than anyone I've met, made the effort to make everyone around you feel special. Your family is a testament to that. You loved them so well, and they, in turn, loved you and each other that much more. You were everything to Kel, and though I can never replace her daddy, please know that I will always take care of your little girl.
