Obituary of Hilda Grace Brisack

Hilda G. Brisack Mt. Upton, NY Hilda G. Brisack, 89, went to be with the Lord early Saturday morning, June 30th, 2012 at A.O. Fox Nursing Home after an extended illness. Hilda was born on January 26, 1923 daughter of Jay and Grace (Shephard) Beilby in Deposit. On October 12, 1939, she married Gerald Brisack in Lanesbury, PA. Hilda had survived her husband, two sons, Jerry and Gordon, a grandson, Mark Daniels, two brothers, Kenneth and Carl, and three sisters, Violet, Mildred and Ruth. She will now be reunited with them. Hilda is survived by two sons, Danny (Valerie) and David Brisack; three daughters, Loretta Daniels, Linda Thayer and Carol (Frederick) Currie; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her legacy will live on through all of them. Her family was her biggest joy and she cherished every moment spent with them. Hilda's main occupation was housewife and mother, but she also helped her husband and run the family business of L&L Machinery. She will certainly be missed by everyone that knew and loved her. Friends are invited to call from 1:00-2:00pm on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main Street Sidney, NY 13838. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm at the funeral chapel with Rev. Judy Thistle officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Mt. Upton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Hilda's memory may be directed to A.O. Fox Nursing Home-Unit 1, 1 Norton Ave. Oneonta, NY 13820.
