Obituary of Victor June Beers

Victor J. Beers, Jr. Mt. Upton, NY Victor J. Beers, Jr. 67 of Mt. Upton died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown. He was born November 5, 1944, Son of the late Victor J. and Florence (Fletcher) Beers, Sr. in Sidney. Victor served his country in the United States Army from 1962 to 1965. He married Inda Beardslee on March 21 1964 in Walton. Victor was retired from the Delaware County Highway Department and was a self-employed carpenter. He was also a member of the Borden Hose Co. Fire Department in Mt. Upton. Victor enjoyed hunting, farming and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Beers is survived by his wife, Inda 2 Sons Kevin Beers and his wife, Kirstie of Greene Roger Beers and his wife Melinda of Mt. Upton. 8 Grandchildren - Jacquelyn, Angela, Walter, Roger, Jr., Kevin, Jr. and Justin Beers, Scott Minser and Jessica Beckel 2 Great Grandchildren Marissa and Abigail 4 Brothers Jim, Larry, Karl and Stanley 3 Sisters, Betty, Grace and Joan And several nieces and nephews Friends may call Friday, June 8, 2012 from 5-7 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Borden Hose Co.
