Colby loved that his buddy played trumpet too,& I went to the spring concert & they were so cute with their little fingers pushing those buttons on the trumpets! Also the look on the boys faces on the float when they went by us was priceless, they were all smiles & thuoght they were about "IT"! It was so neat.
i am so sorry that it ended so tragically, but I told Colby that is a good memory to hold onto of all of them together having fun.
I honestly cant even begin to imagine your pain, but just had to tell you that my grandson & many others thought the world of your son which is a great reflection of his family.

I have been floored by the outpouring of sympathy and love by so many folks on this website and in the Tri-Town area. Like many who have expressed their feelings here, I did not know this young man. Teddy has become "everyone's son" this week and for years to come. If there is something good to come of this very untimely accident, it's that rides and floats in local parades be carefully built and operated. But think of this positive as well: Teddy's last activity was feeling like a star in his baseball uniform and with his very best friends. I hope we can smile on that thought. Teddy was a winner! I used to go to the Cherniaks home on wednsdays for dinner. Teddy was always full with this crazy,insane,funny spunk. I have know him for as long as I have known his brother. I met him when I was in Pre-school. The things I will mill the most about Ted is his care for people, his spunk, and most of all just him. Just a couple weeks ago I was at chimes with Teddy. I would always fool around with him and he thought it was funny. Then in chorus he would always make me laugh. Teddy always had a smile on his face from when he was sad when Mrs. Cherniak said "Teddy" at chime practice and when Teddy was just plain happy. Teddy always made me laugh. I will always miss Teddy and remember all the good times we had from Christmas Eve to the canoe regatta when I saw you last. Teddy I will miss you and you will always be in my heart. I know my big sis will take care of you in heaven. Teddy you will always be in my heart forever.
