Obituary of Ethel Joyce Lyon

Ethel Joyce Lyon Greene, NY Ethel Joyce Lyon, 81, of Greene, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich. Ethel was born on August 6, 1930, daughter of the late Clarence and Nellie Mae (Fink) Bolster in Hambletville, NY. On October 3, 1968, Ethel was married to James Lyon. She was employed as an Inspector at Amphenol Corp. in Sidney and later worked at Broome Psychiatric Center. She was the loving mother of six children and the grandmother to numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a former member of the North Afton United Methodist Church. She is survived by: Husband of 43 years, James Lyon 5 Sons: Steven Kay, Charles Douglas, Vincent Anthony, James Arthur and John Andrew As well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren In addition to her parents, Ethel was predeceased by her daughter, Priscilla Maxine Wright, three brothers: Clarence, Charles and Jack, and three sisters: Harriet, Phyllis and Betty Jane. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, April 16, 2012 in Hambletville Cemetery, Deposit, NY. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.landersfh.com.
